WX Disco is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We collect information that you voluntarily give us via registration or other direct contact from you. Your privacy and security are most important to WX Disco. We do not sell/share any data that you provide. We do our best to secure our server and site against those who would try to collect such data. The site is run and operated by its members who also support its operation financially. WX Disco is a community of weather enthusiasts chatting about the weather in an open social environment. We guarantee this site is 100% clean of anything that would threaten one’s personal privacy and/or security.

The information you provide for registration is used only to identify your account. You are not required to provide anything other than a valid email address when registering. All other information your provide such as location, gender or age, profile information, or personal content is purely voluntary and not required.

We DO NOT share any information your provide with outside sources for any reason. We are privately run site that is member supported. We do not use information collected for financial gain as we are basically a non profit site.

Account Termination Options

All members are free to request account removal for any reason. All requests will be honored.

• Terminations are completed within 24 hours
• Complete removal of personal registration data

• Complete removal of access identity data IE IP addresses used to access WX Disco, browser info, device info, and location info.
• Post content will be assimilated by @DiscoBot

The reason certain content is not fully deleted but absorbed by our resident bot's account is that some members may have important or critical content (topics, posts, comments) that must be maintained. This content will be listed under the @DiscoBot user and have no connection to the former user. If there is any identifying/personal info within this content it will be filtered and removed as well, no traces of your membership will remain.

NOTE: * Please be aware once you request account removal there is no way to undo this or recover your info, it is permanent.

We also use custom blocking on the web server and rule sets that are geared towards blocking access from undesirable users (IP Addresses and emails) and countries.
